Summary

Three pollen samples were examined near petroglyph panels at the Frozen Leg

Site. One of the panels at this site illustrates a number of plants that have

been tentatively identified as tobacco plants. If this site was a ceremonial

site, tobacco pollen might be present. Pollen analysis was undertaken to

identify both the variety of pollen present arei to scan the samples for evidence

of tobaocp pollen.
