Summary

INTRODUCTION

The Paloparado Site is located next to riparian woodlands of the Santa Cruz

River. Four samples were examined for pollen representing occupations from the

Preclassic (AD 700-1150) to the Classic period (AD 1150-1450). Samples examined

were removed from roasting pits, a pit house floor, and a borrow and trash pit

to examine the subsistence base through time.
