POLLEN ANALYSIS AT SITES 42Sv 2175 AND 42In 1119
Author(s): Linda J Scott; PaleoResearch Institute
Year: 1987
Summary
Pollen samples were collected in connection with archaeological
mitigation at two sites (42Sv 2175 and 42In 1119) for Mountain Fuel Supply.
The pollen record from these Fremont sites was examined to obtain
subsistence and ceremonial data. The pollen samples from 42Sv 2175 were
collected from proveniences associated with a burial, while those from 42In
1119 were associated with the living surface of a possible ramada-type
feature.
