Author(s): Kathryn Puseman
Year: 1995
Summary
Fifteen bulk soil samples and two charcoal samples were collected from
Holocene fluvial terraces along Ochoco Creek east of Prineville, Oregon. These
samples were processed in order to identify charcoal and other potentially
radiocarbon datable material. Two pieces of wood from piles of floated debris
along the Crooked River in central Oregon also were sent for identification.
