MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS OF SAMPLES FROM OCHOCO CREEK, OREGON

Summary

Fifteen bulk soil samples and two charcoal samples were collected from

Holocene fluvial terraces along Ochoco Creek east of Prineville, Oregon. These

samples were processed in order to identify charcoal and other potentially

radiocarbon datable material. Two pieces of wood from piles of floated debris

along the Crooked River in central Oregon also were sent for identification.
