Summary

Pollen and phytolith samples from Early Archaic, Early Holocene, and Late Pleistocene

deposits were examined to assess local vegetation. Culturally sterile Late Pleistocene clays

were tested beneath a level yielding Early Archaic artifacts at. 15CU43. At 15CU21 (Wolfe

Shelter) a single sample was examined from a level that produced a Dalton point.
