Summary
Pollen, phytolith, and protein residue analyses were conducted on the wash of a steatite
pot recovered from the Wind River Mountains, Wyoming. These analyses were conducted in an
effort to identify the prehistoric contents of the vessel. This vessel exhibited a whitish residue
adhering to the inside.
