Summary

Pollen and macrofloral samples were examined from the fill of a burned pitstructure and a

nearby activity area at site 42Sv2546. These features were discovered in a backhoe trench along

State Street in the town of Salina, Utah. Pollen and macrofloral analyses will be used to provide

information concerning plant resources available to and possibly utilized by the prehistoric

occupants of 42Sv2546.
