Summary
Pollen analysis was conducted on stratigraphic and feature samples from six sites along
the Wyoming segment of the Express Pipeline. Analysis of stratigraphic samples was undertaken
to provide paleoenvironmental information and a description of vegetation during occupations of
these various sites. Analysis of feature samples should provide evidence of plant processing.
These six sites are located within various vegetation communities along a north-south axis to
central Wyoming, then east to Casper.
