MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS AT SITE 48CA 1366, CAMPBELL COUNTY, WYOMING (1998)
Seventeen soil samples were floated and the macrofloral remains examined from Site 48CA 1366 to identify subsistence activities at this site. Features included primary hearths, roasting pits, charcoal stains, a sheet midden, and features exhibiting no evidence of burning.
POLLEN ANALYSIS OF THREE ARCHAIC SITES IN THE POWDER RIVER BASIN, WYOMING (1981)
Eleven pollen samples were selected for analysis from three sites (48CA468, 48CA561, and 48CA566) on the AMAX Eagle Butte Mine near Gillette in central Campbell County, Wyoming. These samples were taken stratigraphically within the sites in an effort to gather paleoenvironmental data. The Holmes Draw Site, 48CA2834, is a lithic scatter and campsite located on private land on the east and west sides of Holmes Draw drainage in Campbell County, Wyoming, that was excavated over a period of years.
