The Biface III Site (12MI18) was investigated under the leadership of Dr. B.K. Swartz, Jr. This investigation was conducted under permit number DACW-27-3-82-17. A final report draft, authored by Mary Lou James and Carl D. Ebbert, is present in the collection. From June 9th to July 7th of 1982, the sixteenth Annual Ball State University Archaeological Field School excavated the Biface III Site located near Peru, Indiana in the Mississinewa Reservoir drainage.
