One groundstone and accompanying soil control sample were submitted for pollen and starch analysis from rockshelter site CA-MRP-0042/H in Mariposa County, California. The rock shelter opens to the west. Site CA-MRP-0056/H, located in Yosemite National Park in Mariposa County, is situated in a glacially-scoured granitic basin at an elevation of 3,989 feet.
