Charcoal and fill samples from levels noted in the Broken Arrow site, 42KA4356, were analyzed for macrofloral remains. This site is a large cave situated southwest of Lake Powell on the Utah-Arizona border. Four charcoal samples were recovered from cultural levels within test areas in the cave, while seven flotation samples were collected from visually distinct levels with a larger compacted organics level in one of the test areas.
