A total of 20 bulk sediment samples from four trenches along a west-facing fault scarp near Ridgway, Colorado, were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon analysis. Three detrital charcoal samples also were examined. These samples were recovered from colluvium in the vertical trench walls.
