This study concerns itself with the palynological analysis of archaeological pollen recovered in Mancos Canyon, Colorado. There are numerous pollen studies from various parts of the southwest, including several in the Mesa Verde area which are indeed valuable for comparison purposes with the Mancos Canyon (cf.
