POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS AT 48PA987 IN NORTHWESTERN WYOMING: Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected at 42PA987 during archaeological testing. One hearth, two stone circles, two soil surfaces, and the present ground surface are presented. Pollen analysis has concentrated on the identification of elements of the paleoenvironment, as well as any evidence for subsistence activity.
