Temperance House Fort

Temperance House (a.k.a. Indian Fort, Cza 4-1) is located on the county line between Onondaga and Madison Counties and between Pompey and Cazenovia Townships. It dates to the first half of the 16th century. Sample = 34 vessels (Robert Ricklis of Middlesex = 26, Colgate Univ. = 6, Fred Chesebro of Sherburne = 2). These ceramic attributes were recorded in 1969.
