This sub-collection contains the first two volumes in the Roosevelt Monograph series. The first volume describe the project background and research design (A Design for Salado Research). The second volume introduces the archaeology of the Tonto Basin and its interpretation at the time of the studies were initiated (Developing Perspectives on Tonto Basin Prehistory). This sub-collection also includes: (1) a map showing the study area and the general locations of the different investigations; and, (2) the extensive Field and Laboratory Manuals used for the program.
