Summary

This resources is a technical report on archaeological investigations at Bloodsworth Island, Dorchester County, Maryland. Site 18DO82 was identified as the home of waterman William Parks from ca. 1840-1880. Two additional sites were identified as disturbed and in need of no further work (18DO107 and 18DO108). Finally, artifact concentrations along the shore (find spots 18DOX21-18DOX30) were explored and found to have resulted from wave action rather than the presence of archeological sites. Artifacts and associated records from the project are curated at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory on behalf of the Navy.
