Summary
Site 85NM613 has been excavated during the 1989-1991 field seasons. During the 1991 field season Units 3 and 4 were opened. Unit 3 is the south east corner of the twelve room pueblo. Unit 4 is the room directly to the north of Unit 3, still alonq the eastern edge of the pueblo. There are two unexcavated rooms lying to the west of Units 3 and 4. On the western side of the aforementioned unexcavated rooms lie Units 1 and 2 which were investigated during the 1989 and 1990 field seasons. 85NM613 is located on the finger of the first bench above the floodplain of Palomas Creek. This drainage is visible from the southern and western edges of the pueblo and is fed by both a spring and the run-off from the foothills of the Black Range.
