Summary

Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected from Uintah Fremont sites

located near Rangely in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. Samples were collected

primarily from wickiup floors and features in an effort to define construction

material and subsistence items. It was hoped that pollen and/or macrofloral

analysis could assist in identifying site function and season of occupation.
