Summary

POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS AT 48PA987 IN NORTHWESTERN WYOMING:

Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected at 42PA987 during archaeological testing. One hearth, two stone circles, two soil surfaces, and the present ground surface are presented. Pollen analysis has concentrated on the identification of elements of the paleoenvironment, as well as any evidence for subsistence activity.

POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSES AT FA88-136-1 AND FA88-136-2 IN NORTHWESTERN WYOMING:

Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected from FA88-136-1 and FA88-136-2 during archaeological testing. Both sites are comprised of a collection of hearths. Pollen analysis addresses identification of the paleoenvironment, as well as any evidence for subsistence activity. Macrofloral data addresses evidence for subsistence activity, including local choice of fuel.
