Summary
A pollen sample from soil within a tipi ring and three flotation samples from the fill of ash stained
features were examined from Site 48CA1383 in northeast Wyoming. This site consists
of a cluster of four tipi rings and is believed to date to the Late Prehistoric period. Pollen and
macrofloral analyses were undertaken to provide information concerning possible plant resources
utilized at this site.
