Summary
Stratigraphic pollen analysis of sediments from alluvial deposits at the mouth of Moanalua
Valley was undertaken to provide information concerning past vegetation in this area. Radiocarbon
ages indicate these sediments range in age from approximately AD 30-540 to AD 1300-1480. In
addition, a single macrobotanical sample with visible remains was submitted for identification.
