Summary

Site 8HN54 includes two former tree islands that exhibit middens and represents occupation between Glades I and late Glades II (Ad 500-1100). Stratigraphic samples collected from these two former tree islands in the Everglades were examined for pollen to obtain information concerning climate change and available plant resources.
