Summary

Northland Research, Inc. has completed a Class III cultural resource survey of five proposed pole locations for Salt River Project (SRP). The project area is located on USDA Forest Service (USFS) administered lands, Tonto National Forest, Gila County, Arizona. Work proceeded under a Special Use Permit issued by the Forest. The purpose of the survey was to record and evaluate any cultural resources found in the proposed pole locations. The survey was conducted on 9 and 18 June 1992. No archaeological resources were found within the proposed pole locations.
