Pollen and macrofloral analyses were conducted on samples taken from six sites along the Frontier Pipeline in southwestern Wyoming. These sites are located in Uinta, Sweetwater, and Fremont Counties, and were sampled during the process of archaeological mitigation. Radiocarbon dates place the occupation of two sites between 1250+50 and 1880+90. The Bessie Bottoms Site is a multi-component Late Prehistoric site located in the extreme southwestern corner of Wyoming. The Sevenmile Gulch site is located in southwestern Wyoming within the Green River Basin. The site is situated 18 miles west of the Green River and 1.3 miles north of the Blacks Fork River. Pollen and macrofloral samples were examined from the fill of a hearth at site 48SW1644 in southwestern Wyoming. This site exhibits Fremont rock art and is situated at the base of two sandstone outcrops west of the Green River. A test unit uncovered the hearth containing a large quantity of fire-cracked rock.
