One bulk soil sample and two detrital charcoal samples were examined to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon age determination. These samples were recovered from fluvial terraces along the Middle Fork Feather River and from glacial till exposed above Jamison Creek in the Mohawk Valley, northeastern California.
