Monitoring Plan for the proposed undertaking of the restoration of septic systems at BAFS and Hickam AFB. The project proposed by the AMP is designed to identify historic project properties that might be exposed during the undertaking and to treat them appropriately. Archaeological monitoring of site investigation activities at two locations on Bellows Air Force Station was completed in December 1997. Site investigation excavations at the suspected location of a hazardous waste dump associated with the communications building revealed a paleosol associated with site 50-80-15-4851, a traditional Hawaiian cultural deposit that is significant for the information on history and prehistory that it has yielded and is likely to yield.
