A total of 83 lithic artifacts from the Puncheon Run site (7K-C-51) in Dover, Delaware, were submitted for protein residue analysis. Previous studies have shown that protein residues from a tool's surface can be identified using a modified forensic procedure. Site 7K-C-51 contains several discrete activity areas, with diagnostic artifacts datable from Middle Archaic to Late Woodland contexts.
