POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS AT SITE 42UN2373, UTAH (2003)

The fill from a basin-shaped charcoal-stained sediment anomaly exposed in a sand dune at site 42UN2372 in northeast Utah was examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. A pollen control also was collected from the modern dune surface. Charcoal from this feature yielded a radiocarbon age of 3700-3490 BP, suggesting an Archaic occupation.
