While monitoring a trench for the installation of a fiber-optic line, Feature 1 was identified within the boundaries of site 42JB1207, located in Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge, western Utah. This site contains both prehistoric and historic components. Feature 1 consists of a dark, charcoal stained lens and was visible on both walls of the trench.
