A total of eight detrital charcoal samples from along Crow Creek downstream of Crow Dam and reservoir on the Flathead Reservation in northwestern Montana were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon age determination. These samples were recovered from two different aged late Holocene terraces at three different sites along the creek.
