On 8 January 2003, e2M submitted a proposal for conducting an Archaeological Resource Protection Act (ARPA) damage assessment report to the New Mexico State Historic Preservation Office. The proposal was accepted later that same month and field work at the site was completed by the end of February with laboratory analysis continuing until the end of July 2004.
