EXAMINATION OF BULK SOIL FOR RADIOCARBON DATABLE MATERIAL FROM HEBGEN LAKE, MONTANA (2002)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Kathryn Puseman.

Three bulk soil samples from the north side of Hebgen Lake in western Montana were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon analysis. These samples were collected from a paleoseismic trench across the Hebgen fault. Botanic components and detrital charcoal were identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated.
