Samples from a possible hearth remnant at 5GA1219 and from a rock-filled basin hearth at 5GA2524 were analyzed for pollen and macrofloral remains. These sites are located in Grand County in western Colorado. Site 5GA2524 appears to represent a late fall or early winter hunting camp, and a conventional radiocarbon date of 1640 ± 80 BP (Beta-147164) indicates occupation during the Late Prehistoric period.
