Three soil samples from Late Prehistoric site 24DL470 in southwest Montana were floated to recover charred macrofloral remains. Five lithic artifacts were submitted for protein residue analysis. This site is believed to be associated with Numic (Shoshone) Expansion in the area, and features at the site might have been used for camas roasting or chert cooking activities.
