The Ychma site at Panquilma, dates from the 13th to 15th centuries, in the Lurin Valley of central coastal Peru. The site provides an interesting case study for the development of ideologies, specifically mortuary rituals, due to the close proximity and relationship the Ychma community maintained with the important Andean religious center of Pachacamac.
