Studies of foodways for both the Oneota and Mississippian people include description of ceramic vessels. Warfare/violence has been documented at the Norris Farms 36 cemetery. The adjacent Morton Village contains unquestionable evidence of in-migration of Oneota people, creating a record of co-habitation.
