Charcoal fragments from the fill of two hearths at site CA-SBR-13249 in the Blacktop Training Area of the Twentynine Palms Base, southern California, were submitted for identification. This site represents a Saratoga Springs (ca. 1335-680 cal BP) habitation and rockshelter site and consists of a rockshelter and three artifact concentrations.
