Seven soil samples from Batacosa SON:S:7:2 in Sonora, Mexico, were examined for pollen. Six of these samples were collected stratigraphically from Perfil 1, and the seventh represents fill from a burial. Ceramic seriation for this site indicates that it was occupied between AD 200 and 1500 by people of the Huatabampo culture.
