After a site visit to Camp Bullis, the Texas Historical Commission asked the National Register Department to review the eligibility of buildings at Camp Bullis for the National Review. This letter documents the Buildings being requested for review and the limitations a National Register eligibility imposes on historical structures. Carbon copied to this correspondence is Lt. Col. This letter, by the State Historic Preservation Office, in review of Federal Undertaking under the National Historic Preservation Act, was written to inform both the Texas Historical Commission and the Directorate of Engineering and Housing at Fort Sam Houston, of the two possible scenarios for obtaining determinations of eligibility for the buildings, sites and structures at Camp Bullis.
