Salt River Project (SRP) is proposing to construct a new 230kV transmission line in Maricopa County, Arizona (Project). The proposed Project entails the construction of seven miles of new overhead power lines that will follow a previously approved route. The proposed overhead transmission line will require the placement of 56 tubular steel pole structures. The corridor for the proposed Project varies between 100–205 feet (ft) wide.
