SRP requested that Logan Simpson conduct a Class 111 cultural resources inventory of 1,971 acres within Mine Area J-21 West (J-21-W) in Peabody Western Coal Company's proposed Kayenta Mine Complex (KMC). This is part of a larger environmental impact study (EIS) for the continued operation of the Navajo Generating Station (NGS) and the KMC from December 23, 2019 to December 22, 2044.
