Testing at 10 Archaeological Sites on Holloman Air Force Base, Otero County, New Mexico (2018)
The following document provides a research design and work plan for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluation of 10 sites (LA 99318, LA 103402, LA 103403, LA 103406, LA 103407, LA 103420, LA 103421, LA 103422, LA 103424, and LA 103425. These 10 sites are located on Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB), Otero County, New Mexico, and consist of five prehistoric locations, four historic ranch sites, and one multicomponent site with both prehistoric and historic components.
Wastewater Treatment Plant Cultural Resource Evaluation Holloman Air Force Base, Otero County, New Mexico (1995)
Report and SHPO correspondence regarding the plan to construct a wastewater treatment plant to replace the existing base sewage lagoons. Project activities will consist of building a treatment plant with an effluent line to Lake Holloman, and constructing up to ten evaporative ponds. Two sites were located during this project, one near the proposed evaporation ponds.
