The Pinto site (48CR10382) is located in the eastern portion of the Washakie Basin in Carbon County, south central Wyoming. Excavations have exposed thermal basins, a housepit feature, and associated artifacts at this multi-occupational hunter-gatherer site. Two components identified at the site produced radiocarbon dates between 4810–5100 BP (Component I) and 5510–5540 BP (Component II) (Susan Murray, personal communication December 3, 2014).
