Pollen and macrofloral samples were examined from a single hearth area surrounded by lithics and bones at the Vivendi site, 24CA0656, near Great Falls, Montana. This site is a single component Pelican Lake open camp used for meat processing activities. Faunal remains recovered at the site include shell, eggshell, and bison, deer, bear and dog bone. Pollen and macrofloral analyses will be used to provide information concerning paleoenvironment, seasonality, and subsistence.
