Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. of Hurricane, West Virginia was contracted to analyze an assemblage of historic artifacts recovered beneath the floor of the Glenwood Quarters in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Glenwood was constructed between 1850 and 1852 for James Madison Laidley. George W. Summers purchased Glenwood in 1857, and his descendants lived in the house until the 1970s.
