This project includes ceramic data files and R scripts used to analyse ceramic variation on a collection of Neolithic and Iron Age archaeological sites around the northern Mandara Mountains of Cameroon and Nigeria. Fieldwork was undertaken in the mid-1990s. The primary focus of the present project has been investigation of the degree to which novel algorithms can be used to detect variability in the ceramic assemblages.
