Bivlaves recovered from flotation column (25 x 25 cm) of Test Unit A1 and a corresponding control block (25 x 25 cm) carefully excavated by hand. All specimens in the control block were removed to avoid damage by normal waterscreen or flotation techniques. Total number of bivalve shells is 4635.

Level 1 is 0-25 cm (plowzone), Level 2 is 25-30 cm, and levels 3-19 are each 10 cm. Level 20 is 200-205 cm. All matrix waterscreened through 1/4" (6.4 mm) mesh and a 40% sample from each level waterscreened through 1/16" (1.6 mm) mesh, except Level 1, which was dryscreened 1/4" only.
