A Class I survey performed on July 11, 1994 indicated 29 previously recorded sites located within 1.0 mi (1.6 km) of the survey routes. Fourteen sites were shown to be located near the transmission line corridor, with four of these within the right-of-way. TRC Mariah Associates Inc. completed a Class III cultural resource inventory for a water tower pipeline on Kirtland Air Force Base, Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
